We are very proud to launch The Flower Corner Florist School and we cannot wait to welcome you through the doors and help you launch your Florist career.

Our Florist training programme is designed for those who are ready to turn a passion for flowers into a professional career. This course provides a solid foundation in floristry, covering essential techniques in flower care, design principles, and industry best practices. From creating arrangements to understanding the business side of floristry, you'll gain the skills and knowledge required to thrive in todays competitive floral industry. 

Led by our experienced florists, our hands on training ensures you leave with both technical expertise and the confidence to work in a retail florist shop, event styling business, or even launch your own floral brand. 

We want to protect the skillset of florists for the next generation and are committed to equipping our students with the professionalism, creativity and business insight needed to succeed as a florist. 

What will I learn? 

Our 5 week florist training course is designed to build your skills step by step, combining essential techniques with practical hands on experience

•  Week 1 - The Foundations of floristry including conditioning, handling, preparation and pricing.
• Week 2 - Mastering the handtied arrangement - balance, structure and presentation
• Week 3 - Creating the Classic Posey arrangement with precision and style
• Week 4 - Wedding essentials - crafting a bridal bouquet and button hole with professional finish 
• Week 5 - Group finale project  - A large scale floral installation showcasing teamwork and creativity

By the end of the course, you'll graduate with a strong portfolio of floral designs and the confidence to step into the professional world of floristry

When does the course run? 

The Course will run from 7pm - 9pm on the following dates however the last week will run on a Saturday at 10am - 1pm

Thursday 22nd January, Thursday 29th January, Thursday 5th Feb, Thursday 19th Feb, Saturday 28th February
